Chris has an excellent understanding of the law underpinning clinical negligence (and other forms of professional negligence), including the Bolam and Bolitho tests. Chris is able to use his experience of higher-value cases in personal injury more broadly to provide effective advice where clinical negligence has left Claimants with restrictions to their capacity to work or care for themselves.

Recent instructions include the following (updated in January 2025):

• The successful defence of a medical professional who had been made the target of a non-party costs order;
• A successful claim involving negligent treatment provided by a General Practitioner, with the claim settling for £95,000.
