Intellectual Property, Defamation and Privacy CV

Rachel has a keen interest in intellectual property, defamation and privacy work and is currently developing her practice in these areas. Prior to coming to the Bar, Rachel worked at the Information Commissioner’s Office, where she gained hands-on experience of data protection and regulatory compliance. Rachel brings this wider experience and knowledge to her advisory and court work.

Recent cases Rachel has acted in include:

• Provided advice as to whether a Subject Access Request needed to be complied with in light of ongoing litigation and disclosure obligations
• Drafted a defence to a harassment claim
• Advised on a claim concerning infringement of design rights
