Simon is experienced in handling contentious and non-contentious costs issues arising out of clinical negligence, personal injury and commercial litigation claims.
Simon is dual qualified as a solicitor (non-practising) and barrister. He qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and worked at DAC Beachcroft prior to transferring across to the Bar. Simon has been a Deputy District Judge since 2010.

- AM -v- MIB successfully represented the claimant respondent to an appeal which concerned the scope of the exceptions to Qualified One Way Costs Shifting in CPR r.44.15(a) to (c).
