Ian has over 20 years of clerking experience and joined Chambers in 2010 as senior clerk when Exchange Chambers first opened in Leeds. Ian is responsible for helping to attract quality barristers to Exchange Chambers, and is committed to an ongoing expansion programme across the North Eastern Circuit. His main focus is practice development, overall diary management, fee negotiation, client care and business development.
With other members of the senior management team and as a member of the executive committee, Ian plays a key role in the implementation of Chambers’ business and development strategy.
Away from Chambers, Ian spends time with his young family. He is a keen cyclist and can be found on the hills of Derbyshire most Sundays.
