Court of Protection

Katharine is a personal injury specialist. Drawing upon her expertise in this field, she is experienced in advising upon issues relating to capacity and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the interplay with the Court of Protection.

Katharine represents both applicants and respondents in contested welfare matters proceeding before the Court Of Protection. Her approach is client focussed but collaborative in seeking to achieve effective and creative solutions for vulnerable adults, particularly in matters relating to deprivation of liberty and best interests decisions.

Katharine has a compassionate and amicable manner, yet is firm and robust in her approach when needed.
