Annual Insolvency Conference attracts over 100 delegates

November 10, 2016

Exchange Chambers last week staged its Annual Insolvency Conference 2016 in Manchester and Leeds.

The long-standing event, which was attended by over 100 delegates, included talks from six members of Exchange Chambers’ dedicated insolvency team – Mark Cawson QC, David Mohyuddin QC, Karen Troy, Christopher Cook, Lisa Linklater and John Waiting.   Also speaking was Exchange Chambers’ Professorial Associate, David Milman.   The convenor was Beth Harvey-Smith.

Commenting on the conference, one delegate said:

“Thanks for providing such an excellent programme. It was varied and thought provoking and clearly a lot of effort had gone into it.”

The Annual Insolvency Conference coincided with the launch of this year’s Chambers and Partners, which confirmed Exchange Chambers’ Band 1 ranking for Restructuring / Insolvency. Chambers UK describes the insolvency team at Exchange Chambers as “a market-leading set which continues to attract high-value instructions from office-holders and individuals owing to its stellar reputation”.

Exchange Chambers has confirmed its Annual Insolvency Conference will again be staged in Manchester and Leeds next year.  The 2017 event will include presentations on the Insolvency Rules 2016, which are likely to come into force in April 2017.   Further details will be released early 2017.
