Court of Protection
Lee regularly appears in the Court of Protection and acts on behalf of local authorities and for individuals who lack capacity. He has experience in cases involving challenges to deprivation of liberty and best interests decisions, and has advised in respect of bringing an application for a statutory will.
Lee’s varied and mixed practice has given him experience of issues of capacity in different settings; from assessment of fitness to plead in criminal cases, to advising in personal injury cases involving protected parties where there is reason to doubt whether the client has capacity.
Lee also has a substantial family practice and is experienced at dealing with clients and their families during stressful times in their lives.
