Eddison was called to the Bar in 2015 and became a tenant at Exchange Chambers in October 2019.
Prior to joining chambers, Eddison worked for a National Civil Law firm before joining the Crown Prosecution Service as a Pupil Barrister.
Since joining Chambers Eddison has developed a busy practice spanning criminal, civil and regulatory work. Eddison regularly acts for both Prosecution and Defence in trials and interlocutory hearings in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts. His day to day practice involves representing both prosecution and defence in a variety of matters including:
- assault offences
- drug offences
- theft offences
- fraud offences
- motoring offences
- confiscation and enforcement proceedings
Eddison has acted as junior counsel for both Prosecution and Defence in large multi-handed cases involving Conspiracy to Murder, Perverting the Course of Public Justice and Violent Disorder.
In Civil, Eddison regularly attends Stage 3 hearings and small claims for Claimant and Defendant.
Eddison also has an interest in regulatory work having appeared in matters involving the RSPCA, the DVLA and local planning authorities. He would like to continue in developing his regulatory practice.
