Karen Troy retires from the Bar

November 1, 2017

Members of Chambers and staff extend their best wishes to Karen Troy on her retirement from the Bar.

Karen was called to the Bar in 1981 and has built a highly regarded practice in commercial and chancery law, including corporate and personal insolvency, insurance and property.

After joining Exchange Chambers in September 2011, Karen advised and appeared in the High Court, both in Manchester and London, and in the Court of Appeal, on a diverse range of insolvency matters. She also advised and appeared in a number of substantial chancery and mercantile commercial matters, in the Chancery Division, Mercantile Court, TCC and Court of Appeal, as well as assisting clients at mediation.

Karen will be greatly missed and we wish her well in her retirement, which includes training for next year’s London Marathon in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK.
