Sarah Barlow secures acquittal for police officer

November 6, 2019

A police officer represented by Sarah Barlow from Exchange Chambers, instructed by Jacqui Boothman of Precedence Law, has been acquitted of careless driving at Bradford Magistrates Court.

The Officer was on duty at the time of the incident and driving an Armed Response Vehicle on an emergency call. The court found him to be blameless when an accident involving another driver caused him to mount a pavement and collide with an elderly pedestrian.

Both Sarah and Jacqui represent officers in criminal and disciplinary proceedings and inquests.
