Tom has developed a thriving practice in the specific area of matrimonial finance matters. 1. Tom successfully obtained a Freezing Injunction in a highly contested multi-asset and multi-million pound case in circumstances where the Respondent had taken over £60,000 from the Applicant’s bank account without authorisation.
2. Successfully represented the Respondent in a complex case where the Applicant sought to maintain a financial claim arising from the Applicant’s status as a beneficiary in a multi -million pound discretionary trust.
3. Successfully represented an Applicant on the construction of a Xydhias agreement in circumstances where the Respondent had sought to initiate financial remedy proceedings.
4. Successfully negotiated settlement in a multi- million pound farming case in circumstances where there were complex issues of law associated with the ringfencing of inherited assets.
5. Achieved a 94% asset division in favour of an Applicant Wife with a successful argument asserting capital and housing need.
