Jodie was called to the Bar in 2018, and became a tenant of Exchange Chambers in September 2020 following the successful completion of her pupillage.
Jodie’s practice encompasses commercial litigation, property and insolvency law. During her pupillage, she assisted with and experienced a wide range of commercial litigation before many different judges in the High Court of Justice, Business and Property Courts and County Courts nationwide, including company, insolvency, contract, construction and property work. She also experienced appellate work in the Court of Appeal.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Jodie worked at a Solicitors firm in Leeds full-time for two years as a commercial litigation paralegal whilst studying the BPTC part-time. This provided Jodie with a firm foundation of practical experience and commercial awareness, allowing a smooth and successful transition to the commercial Bar.
Jodie is happy to provide informal advice and welcomes contact by email or phone.
