Local Government and Social Housing
Hedley originally qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and was a senior solicitor for a large North West personal injury firm, specialising in personal injury work for over 12 years. He transferred to the Bar in 2016.
He has substantial experience of local government law, dealing with homelessness, committal proceedings and anti-social behaviour (both injunctions and possession actions) as well as landlord and tenant matters (rent arrears and tenant disrepair claims).
Hedley likes to work closely with local government teams to build a close working relationship of mutual benefit. He is renowned for his cross-examination skills, thorough preparation and personable manner.
