  • Beyond the Bar

    In September 2014, David spent 4 weeks in New Delhi, working with Sidharth Luthra, Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India.

    Before he commenced pupillage, David spent a year working for the Independent Police Complaints Commission. David was an Investigation Researcher, assigned to the Hillsborough investigation. This was the same topic which was covered by David in his undergraduate dissertation. He won an award for the best undergraduate project.

    David is a keen sportsman. Over recent years, David has completed two marathons, in New Orleans and Liverpool.

Family

David is regularly instructed in private law matters involving residence, contact, specific issue orders and prohibited steps orders. He also acts in matters concerning non-molestation orders and occupation orders. David has a particular interest in cases involving relocation and international relocation.

David has a growing practice in financial remedy proceedings. He has recent experience of high value and complex cases.

David is happy to respond to informal requests for advice by email or otherwise.
