Paul Burns to speak at Northwest Housing Conference 2016

Paul Burns (Head of the Local Government & Social Housing department at Exchange Chambers) will be speaking with Jo Morton of Brabners Solicitors on ‘Anti-Social Behaviour Litigation: Recent developments and current themes before the courts’  at the Northwest Housing Conference 2016 which is being held at the BT Convention Centre in Kings Dock, Liverpool on Friday 4th November 2016.

At the housing conference, Paul and Jo will consider recent legal developments and current challenges for the local government and social housing sectors in key areas of anti-social behaviour law including mental health, capacity, possession claims, ECHR Article 8 challenges and the issue of warrants where the terms of suspended possession orders are breached.

Paul is independently acclaimed as a leader in the fields of local government law and social housing law and is a favourite with clients. He was appointed Junior Counsel to the Crown by the Attorney General in 2015 and continues to be awarded the highest available independent ranking in each of his areas of specialism
