Exchange Chambers hosts Annual Personal Injury Seminar 2019

October 4, 2019

Exchange Chambers hosted its Annual Personal Injury Seminar at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester last week.

The event, which was accredited with 5.5 CPD points, focused on the interesting and difficult issues arising in RTA litigation; all the busy practitioner needs to maximise success and avoid traps for the unwary.

The seminar was attended by Claimant and Insurance representatives alike, with much of the content readily transferable to other areas of personal injury law.

Chaired by Will Waldron QC, a range of speakers from Exchange Chambers delivered presentations on the day, including Louis Browne QC, David Knifton QC, Paul Kirtley, Roger Hillman, Matthew Stockwell, Chris Barnes, Chris Gutteridge, Alice Dobbie, Gareth Shires and Chris Allen.

A range of external speakers were instrumental to the success of the event, including James Manning from TRL, Simon Wilson from Thompsons Solicitors and Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology, Dr Cerian Jackson.  Delegates also heard about the client’s perspective with Tim Mabon discussing his rehabilitation journey using exoskeleton.

Feedback from our attendees was extremely positive.  Some of their comments included:

“Excellent range of subjects.”

“Very informative course.”

“Very well delivered seminar which was very informative.”

“An interesting mix of subjects and topics – very well presented and delivered.”
