Alexandra Sutton has been voted in as a full member of Exchange Chambers after successfully completing her pupillage.
Called to the Bar in 2017, Alexandra experienced a wide range of criminal, common law and regulatory work in her first six months of pupillage. She also appeared pro bono in the Special Education Needs and Disability Tribunal.
During her second six months, she developed a busy criminal practice, acting for both prosecution and defence in a variety of matters. Alexandra has appeared in trials and interlocutory hearings in both the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court, and has acted as junior counsel in a multi-defendant importation and money-laundering trial. She also has an interest in regulatory work having appeared for the DVLA and the Security Industry Authority in appeal matters and will continue to develop her regulatory practice moving forward.
Tom Handley, CEO at Exchange Chambers said:
“We are delighted to welcome Alex as a full member of Chambers and look forward to her building a long and successful career at the Bar.”
