Successful Defences in Police Misconduct Hearings for Steven Crossley

April 6, 2016

In March, Steven Crossley successfully defended a South Yorkshire Inspector against allegations of dishonesty. It was argued that the Inspector’s admitted acts constituted lesser breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour and, after a 4 day Police Misconduct Hearing, the Panel agreed.

In April, following an IPCC recommended Hearing, Steven successfully represented a Merseyside officer alleged to have used excessive force in the course of an arrest. All allegations were dismissed.

Steven was instructed by Dan McNally and Alan Greenidge of Slater and Gordon.

Steven is recognised as a Leading Individual in Legal 500 and is a member of the police law and disciplinary team in Chambers.
