Overview

Tanita was called to the Bar in 2022 and became a tenant of Exchange Chambers in September 2024 following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Lawrence McDonald and James Malam.

Tanita has a broad commercial and chancery practice, with a particular focus on property and insolvency law. She is a confident advocate and frequently appears in the County and High Courts for applications, interlocutory hearings, and trials.

Tanita is also regularly instructed to provide advice and to draft pleadings in a wide range of cases, including landlord and tenant disputes, misfeasance claims, and cases involving torts such as nuisance and trespass. She is happy to provide written advice or to advise clients in conference, in person or remotely.

Before being called to the Bar, Tanita enjoyed a successful 10-year career in public relations and communications. She has a solid understanding of the importance of business reputation management and therefore takes a pragmatic approach to practice.
