Pankaj Madan secures Claimant £1m gross settlement

January 26, 2016

Pankaj Madan, instructed by Minster Law Limited, London, has secured a £1m gross settlement at a JSM on a provisional damages basis for a motor biker with a bad break to his lower right limb.

Commenting on the settlement, Pankaj Madan said:

“There was a more than fanciful risk that an amputation may occur in the future. The Claimant had fortunately done very well since the accident and was extremely stoic but the risks were there for him for the future.”

Pankaj specialises in Catastrophic and Life-Changing Injury with specialist expertise in Brain Injury, severe limb injuries potentially leading to amputation, chronic pain and high-value Pain and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) claims. A great number of instructions are therefore in relation to motor bikers and from insurers dealing with such high value claims.

Pankaj is routinely instructed nationally by leading firms and he frequently confers with insurers, medical experts in chambers or severely injured claimants often in hospitals or rehabilitation facilities or their own home. He is instructed and respected by leading Defence firms, and sought after by the insurers often at the first intimation of a claim. He adopts a team approach with the insurer and Solicitor.

Pankaj is a key member of the Personal Injury team at Exchange Chambers.
