Operation Crowbar – Adrian Farrow and Fiona Clancy successfully prosecute 8 Defendants for Drugs Related offences

Adrian Farrow and Fiona Clancy from Exchange Chambers successfully prosecuted 8 Defendants for a complex series of drug production, importation and supply offences and a 9th defendant for assisting an offender.
The offences came to light following the interception of a disguised 5 kg package of MDMA tablets by Border Force in November 2019 and a subsequent drugs search.
The Defendants were linked to this offending by way of forensic evidence, mobile phone cell site analysis and telephone data.
The defendants were sentenced at Minshull Street Crown Court on 29th April.
