“Leading set in the North” Exchange Chambers has secured a range of top tier rankings in The Legal 500 2021 guide, published this week.

In total, Exchange has achieved 122 individual rankings across the Northern and North Eastern circuits, beating our record of 87 individual rankings in the 2020 rankings.

Chambers’ main departments are all singled out for praise with The Legal 500 describing Exchange as “a top draw set across three Northern cities” with “tremendous strength in depth”, “standout counsel” and “real talent”.

The legal directory also recognises the quality of Chambers’ clerking team which is described as “superb”, “exceptional”, “responsive and helpful”.

Commenting on the rankings, Jonathan I’Anson, Chief Executive at Exchange Chambers said:

“We are delighted to see so many of our members, across all practice areas and locations, ranked in this year’s Legal 500.  It is a positive reflection on the quality of our barristers and the strength in depth of Chambers.  We are also appreciative of the positive feedback from solicitors.”
