3 new members for Exchange

Ben Lafferty, Hannah Forsyth and Jack Scott have become full members of Exchange Chambers after successfully completing their pupillage.
Ben Lafferty’s practice covers four main areas; general commercial, insolvency (both personal and corporate), banking and finance, and property. Ben is regularly instructed in his areas of specialism to provide written advisory and drafting work, and to attend court. As well as contentious court work, Ben also has experience of alternative dispute resolution, having successfully represented clients in mediation.
Hannah Forsyth has a mixed criminal practice, prosecuting and defending in both the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts. During pupillage, she gained experience in handling a wide variety of offences, including violent and sexual assault, dishonesty offences, child abduction, criminal damage, possession of offensive weapons and breaches of court orders. Hannah also accepts instructions in motoring and vehicle crime and has experience in private prosecution work.
Jack Scott is experienced in a broad range of common law work including personal injury, employment, clinical negligence, family, commercial disputes, inquests, mediation, shareholder and company disputes, property and crime. His practice encompasses small claims, fast track and multi-track matters. Jack is comfortable and adept in complex trials, as well as a wide range of applications, CCMCs, Stage 3 and Approval Hearings.
Ben, Hannah and Jack were all called to the Bar in 2021.
