June 4, 2014

Exchange Chambers has continued its expansion by welcoming two new members in Leeds, Victoria Smith-Swain and Holly Betke.

Victoria is a specialist criminal and regulatory advocate, who has a successful defence practice encompassing the full spectrum of offences. She was called to the Bar in 2008 and completed her pupillage at London Set, Charter Chambers.  Having joined Exchange Chambers in October 2013 she has now been voted in as a full member.

Holly has been a criminal practitioner since 2008, first as a solicitor, then since 2013 as a barrister.  She joined Exchange Chambers from ABR Solicitors last year and having completed her third six pupillage has now been voted in as a full member.

“We are delighted to welcome Vicky and Holly as full members of Chambers,” said Tom Handley, Director of Chambers at Exchange Chambers.  “Our criminal team now has over seventy members with strength in depth across the board.”
