Successful money laundering defence for Adam Brown

Adam Brown from Exchange Chambers has successfully represented a defendant who was unanimously acquitted by a jury of money laundering offences following a seven-week trial at Minshull Street Crown Court involving five defendants.

The complex NCA prosecution centred on the export of millions of pounds in cash concealed inside DVD boxes and sent via UK airports to Dubai. Adam represented a courier accused of making deliveries to UK airports. His client was one of two defendants to be acquitted.
