Steven Crossley successfully represents North Wales Police Sergeant

Sgt C, a custody sergeant, was alleged to have used excessive force amounting to Gross Misconduct in applying a “full nelson” wrestling technique to a detained person, causing him to sustain a fractured clavicle. Following a 2 day Hearing, the the Panel found that the Officer had neither used excessive force nor caused the detained person’s injury. The case attracted national press interest and is to feature in a BBC Radio 4 “File on 4” review of police misconduct hearings.
