Simon Lewis success at 3 week employment tribunal

February 1, 2016

Simon Lewis, acting for a well-known employer, has successfully resisted a complex set of claims brought by a former employee in an employment tribunal.

The claims were for unfair dismissal, victimisation, harassment and direct discrimination on the ground of sex and race.  Each was held to be ill-founded and rejected.

Over 60 separate allegations of discrimination were advanced by the claimant in a document-heavy case involving 14 witnesses.

The employment tribunal, held in London, spanned three weeks.
