Professional Negligence Seminar 2025 – Liverpool
We are pleased to invite you to our Professional Negligence Seminar 2025. This event will be held in-person only, in Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester on Thursday 5th, Tuesday 10th, and Wednesday 11th of June respectively.

The seminar will consist of four 30-minute talks from members of the Exchange Chambers Professional Negligence Team. Breakfast is included!

10:45 Carly Sandbach on Professional Negligence Claims and the ‘Collateral Attack’ challenge – what remains? A consideration of the scope of the collateral attack challenge as a defence to professional negligence claims the Court of Appeal decisions in following Allsop v Banner Jones [2021] EWCA Civ 7, Princewaterhousecoopers LLP v BTI 2014 LLC [2021] EWCA Civ 9 and Tinkler v Ferguson [2021] EWCA Civ 8.
11:15 Jodie Wildridge on When Worlds Collide… A consideration of how the law deals with conflicts (or potential conflicts) of interest between clients and their advisors, with a particular focus on Conditional Fee Agreements and the decision of Fancourt J in Forster v Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP [2023] EWHC 1150 (Ch).
