Professional Negligence Seminar 2025 – Leeds
We are pleased to invite you to our Professional Negligence Seminar 2025. This event will be held in-person only, at our Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester Chambers on the 5th, 10th and 11th of June respectively.
Registration is from 09:00.
The seminar will consist of four 30-minute talks from members of the Exchange Chambers Professional Negligence Team. Breakfast is included!

Carly Sandbach on Professional Negligence Claims and the ‘Collateral Attack’ challenge – what remains? A consideration of the scope of the collateral attack challenge as a defence to professional negligence claims the Court of Appeal decisions in following Allsop v Banner Jones [2021] EWCA Civ 7, Princewaterhousecoopers LLP v BTI 2014 LLC [2021] EWCA Civ 9 and Tinkler v Ferguson [2021] EWCA Civ 8.
Richard Tetlow talks On the Fringes – Some examples of the margins of imposition of a duty and other means of establishing liability.
Jodie Wildridge on When Worlds Collide… A consideration of how the law deals with conflicts (or potential conflicts) of interest between clients and their advisors, with a particular focus on Conditional Fee Agreements and the decision of Fancourt J in Forster v Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP [2023] EWHC 1150 (Ch).
