In light of the Supreme Court’s much anticipated judgment in three linked motor finance appeals: Hopcraft v Close Brothers Limited; Johnson v FirstRand Bank Limited; and Wrench v FirstRand Bank Limited [2025] UKSC 33, handed down on 1 August 2025, Exchange Chambers will be hosting a remote seminar to discuss the impact of the decision.

John Waiting will speak on the significance of the decision in terms of clarifying the law on fiduciary duties and bribery.

Harriet Hartshorn will discuss what might be next for motor finance, and the impact of the decision on consumer finance litigation generally.

This webinar will be taking place via Teams on Wednesday, 13th August from 16:30. To book your place, please contact our Seminars Team.
