With “extensive geographical coverage across the Northern Circuit”, “innovative” and “cutting edge” Exchange Chambers has secured a range of Band 1 rankings in Chambers and Partners UK Bar Guide 2018, published today.

In total, Exchange Chambers has secured 76 recommendations across all practice areas with ten barristers entering the rankings for the first time and others moving up to higher ranked categories.

Comments in Chambers UK 2018 include:

  • “They are a forward-looking set who are strong across the board and are very professionally run. They are very careful to preserve their well-deserved good reputation.”
  • “They impress because they are large and able to respond to changes fluidly, rapidly and efficiently.”
  • “Innovative and at the cutting edge. They are accessible and always able to accommodate.”
  • “The clerks at Exchange really make a difference and are often the reason why I call and instruct their barristers.”

Earlier this year, Exchange Chambers secured its best ever rankings in The Legal 500, with commentators recognising Chambers’ “great strength in depth” and “excellent counsel at all levels”.

Commenting on the rankings Tom Handley, Director of Chambers, said:

“We are delighted to have strengthened our position as a top tier set in this year’s legal directories.

“In a competitive marketplace, we are particularly pleased that the depth of Chambers’ expertise across all our sectors and practice areas has been recognised by the researchers.”
