Mediation can be a highly effective means of resolving many kinds of dispute that typically come before the Business and Property Courts and parties are increasingly turning to mediation as an alternative to litigation in cases of this kind. A consideration supporting the decision to mediate can be that it offers the opportunity to appoint a mediator who is not only someone with expertise in the mediation process but is also an established practitioner from a business and property background who is able to bring that knowledge and experience to bear when assisting the parties to resolve their dispute.
All of the members of the Business and Property Mediation Group are experienced practitioners with specialism in business or property or both. Some accept appointments as adjudicators and arbitrators. Others have part-time judicial appointments. Between them they offer a breadth and depth of experience in dispute resolution across most of the business and property landscape.
