Matrimonial finance

Sonia has a growing matrimonial finance practice. She is regularly instructed in applications under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, TOLATA 1996, Schedule 1 to the Children Act 1989, and the Married Women’s Property Act 1882. She appears at all stages of proceedings, including FDAs, FDRs and final hearings.

Private children

Sonia is regularly instructed in private law matters involving applications for child arrangements orders, specific issue orders, prohibited steps orders and urgent protective orders including non-molestation and occupation orders. She has experience handling cases involving allegations of domestic abuse, parental alienation and complex contact disputes.
