Sonia has a developing commercial practice with particular experience in international arbitration, transportation, and contractual disputes. She has acted for and against international joint ventures, multinational corporations and state-owned enterprises in proceedings across a range of jurisdictions including England & Wales, the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.

Sonia recently undertook a secondment with the transportation team at an international law firm assisting on a range of high-value commercial disputes, including proceedings before the English Commercial Court, in the BVI and in London-seated arbitrations.

Sonia’s experience spans all stages of litigation and arbitration, including disclosure, interlocutory applications and hearings. She has been led in proceedings in the HKIAC, LCIA and English Commercial Court, including a recent multi-million-dollar IPO dispute.
