From 1998 Paul gained wide experience representing Claimants and Defendants in fast track and multi-track personal injury litigation with an emphasis on orthopaedic injuries, scarring, respiratory illness and psychiatric illness.
In the last fifteen years the development of a specialist local government and social housing practice has resulted in Paul’s personal injury work becoming much more specialised. His personal injury practice is now defence focussed, with an emphasis on orthopaedic, respiratory and psychiatric illness. His instructions often arise from litigation relating to allegations of serious housing disrepair / unfit housing.
Paul receives instructions from a range of organisations including local authorities, social housing providers and their insurers. Paul was appointed one of The Attorney General’s Panel A Counsel in 2015 and in that capacity he advises and represents the MOD and DWP.
