Professional Negligence

Matthew’s professional negligence practice encompasses claims against a range of professionals, with a particular emphasis on claims against solicitors (in the context of both non-contentious transactional services and contentious litigation).

Example cases include negligent conveyancing (e.g. terms of option agreement; failure to advise of flood risk; failure to advise back garden to property was not included in title) and claims for loss of chance arising from conduct during course of litigation (e.g. missing Court deadlines resulting in strike out).
