Practice Overview
Gaby became a tenant of Exchange Chambers in January 2026 following successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Alex G. Williams and David Birrell.
Gaby has a busy and varied practice across Crime and Personal Injury.
She has gained experience and is regularly instructed in Crown Court hearings, both prosecuting and defending, including:
- Drugs Offences
- Motoring Offences
- Sexual Offences
- Offences against the Person
- Dishonesty Offences
Alongside her own work, Gaby has assisted senior counsel on more complex matters, including RASSO cases, drug conspiracies, murder trials, and fraud.
Gaby has also gained experience in the Magistrates Court on both Criminal and Regulatory matters. In addition, she has been engaged in inquest work, as she recently represented a family at Warrington Coroner’s Court.
Gaby undertakes hearings in the County Court, both for quantum and liability matters, including Small Claims, Fast Track, infant approval hearings, and Stage 3 hearings, for both Claimants and Defendants. She has a busy papers practice spanning across particulars of claims, advice on quantum, and advice on prospects for RTAs, public liability and employers’ liability matters.
She prides herself in a keen eye for detail and thorough preparation, whilst ensuring she provides a down to earth and personable approach. Gaby is always eager to undertake a new challenge.
Prior to the Bar, Gaby worked as a Senior Litigation Consultant in Employment Law, for over two years. She also worked as a Commercial Litigation and Regulatory Paralegal, where she gained experience of litigation across a broad array of matters including, defamation, competition, clinical negligence, health and safety, and firearms appeals.
