David has over 20 years’ experience of working with police officers and over 10 years’ experience of acting in professional disciplinary proceedings.

David has represented police officers and other professionals charged with criminal offences in magistrates’ and Crown Courts.  He recently overturned a conviction for assault on appeal to the Crown Court.

David accepts instructions in police disciplinary proceedings.    He is currently instructed on behalf of a serving police officer in parallel criminal and disciplinary proceedings arising out of an allegation of Controlling and coercive behaviour against his partner, another serving officer.

When instructed in disciplinary proceedings, David is able to call upon his judicial experience, which includes chairing professional disciplinary proceedings.
