Property and Planning
Anthony is an experienced chancery commercial barrister and has appeared in silk in every level of court and in tribunals and the Isle of Man.
A core part of Anthony’s practice both as a junior and QC has always been property, encompassing both land law and landlord and tenant matters.
He has appeared in property cases at all levels of tribunal from the First Tier through county courts to the Chancery Division, Court of Appeal and House of Lords (and he would hope, in due course the Supreme Court).
He enjoys the construction of rights in contracts and deeds and its leading to the identification first of the interlocutory or preliminary issue way forward, though of course he welcomes unavoidable trials.
He is also an ADR Group accredited mediator.
Anthony seeks to identify in any case the realistic destination and the most efficient route to it. He enjoys the case and takes pride in it.
