Adrian has been an exclusively criminal practitioner since 1988. A former solicitor, Adrian transferred to the Bar in 1997. His experience covers the complete spectrum of criminal offences, including homicide (incorporating fatal driving and gross negligence health and safety cases), drugs, fraud, firearms, serious sexual offences and confiscation.
With a reputation for hard work, thorough preparation and effective advocacy, Adrian is always in demand as an approachable criminal practitioner in chambers. He is strategically aware and has a clear, calm manner in what are often hugely complex cases. He effortlessly combines intellect with insight to bring rarely seen detail to his cases. In the Regulatory field, Adrian has a broad range of experience incorporating health care tribunal work and health and safety cases at all levels, including the Court of Appeal.
He is a Category 4 Prosecutor and is on the Attorney General’s list. Maintaining a balanced practice means that he brings a 360 degree approach to every case.
