July 3, 2026

Natasha Khalique from Exchange Chambers was last night named Barrister / KC of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards 2026.

The Manchester Legal Awards ceremony brought together more than 600 members of the region’s legal community to celebrate exceptional talent, hard work and achievement across all areas of law.

The Barrister / KC of the Year award recognises barristers who have demonstrated excellence in advocacy, delivered exceptional client service, made a significant contribution to their chambers and achieved outstanding success over the qualifying year.

Natasha is a specialist family law practitioner, accepting instructions across the full spectrum of family law and appearing in the Family Court and High Court.

Alongside her practice, she is recognised as a leading voice on neurodivergence within the family justice system. She delivers training to judges and legal professionals, speaks at conferences across the country and is the author of A Practical Guide to Neurodivergence in Family Law. Through her work, she has helped to raise awareness and understanding of an issue that makes a real difference to judges, practitioners and, most importantly, the families they serve.

Congratulating Natasha, Jonathan I’Anson, Chief Executive at Exchange Chambers, said:

“We are delighted to see Natasha recognised with this award.

“Natasha’s commitment is matched by her determination to improve the family justice system for others. Her raising of awareness has had a positive impact in the legal sector well beyond her own practice, making this recognition thoroughly deserved.”
