Michael Lavery acts in no returns policy case

Michael Lavery a criminal barrister from Exchange Chambers acted for the defendant, Bennett, in the custody time limit case in relation to the availability of Counsel during the no returns policy of the Criminal Bar Association.
The case sounds a warning note to Government that the longer the policy runs the harder it will be for Courts to extend remand periods for unconvicted defendants awaiting trial.
