Manchester-barrister Olly Jarvis launches thecrimehub.com

Criminal barrister and crime writer Olly Jarvis, a member of Exchange Chambers in Manchester, has launched an innovative new website focused on all things crime.
thecrimehub.com will feature written and audio content from leading crime writers and people connected to the criminal justice system.
The site launches on September 9th 2019 with a series of brilliant podcast stories recorded in LA including Murder at the Palace by Gyles Brandreth, narrated by Stephen Fry, and The Plater by Ann Cleeves, narrated by Alfred Molina.
thecrimehub.com will also bring readers true crime interviews with leading figures from the Criminal Justice System including the world’s top expert on fingerprints Philip Gilhooley, forensic pathologist Dr Richard Shepherd and The Secret Barrister.
Olly Jarvis is passionate about creating a place online for audio crime content, entirely independent of radio.
He commented:

We wanted to create something that showcases the best thriller writers, but also gives a an insight into the real world of crime detection, evidence, and jury trials and the people who work within this fascinating world.”
Olly Jarvis is a writer and criminal defence barrister, originally from London but now working in Manchester from Exchange Chambers.
Drawing on his experiences, he writes both fiction and non-fiction with a particular understanding of the pressures and excitement of life in the courtroom.
He wrote the highly acclaimed Radio 4 drama Judgement, and wrote and presented the BBC documentary short Mum Knows Best about tribal law in Sumatra. He is also the author of legal thrillers, Cut-Throat Defence, Unconvicted and Death by Dangerous, which was longlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger.
