Imran Shafi KC successfully avoids football banning order for his client

Imran Shafi KC successfully defended a local businessman in relation to a ‘tragedy chanting’ public order offence arising from the Liverpool and Manchester United game at Anfield last August.

Whilst the offence was not serious, the implications of a conviction were. In addition to the harm to his reputation, a football banning order would have been imposed prohibiting this lifelong MUFC season ticket holder from attending any matches here or abroad.
