Exchange members successful in CPS Panel appointments
January 6, 2026
Exchange Chambers is delighted to announce that a number of its criminal barristers have been successfully appointed to new CPS Panel grades.
Appointed to Grade 3 are Ben Berkson, Zarreen Alam-Cheetham, Rhianydd Clement, Hannah Forsyth, Eve Salter and Sacha Waxman.
Appointed to Grade 2 are Marion Weir, Amy Weir and Hayley Parkes.
The CPS Panel is a quality-assured framework through which the Crown Prosecution Service appoints self-employed barristers to prosecute criminal cases in England and Wales. Barristers are accredited to specific levels based on experience and expertise, determining the seriousness and complexity of cases they are authorised to handle. Appointment to the CPS Panel is widely regarded as a mark of professional competence and standing in criminal advocacy.
These appointments further demonstrate the depth and quality of Exchange Chambers’ criminal department, with barristers specialising in serious and general crime, financial crime and criminal regulatory work.
