Exchange Chambers raises £21,000 at Annual Charity Ball
November 28, 2025
Exchange Chambers has announced that its Annual Charity Ball, held on 13 November at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel Manchester, raised £21,000 for the Rooprai Spinal Trust (RST), the set’s charity partner.
The black-tie evening welcomed around 230 guests who supported RST through a series of fundraising activities, including a live auction featuring prizes donated by members of Chambers, clients and business partners.
Jonathan I’Anson, Chief Executive at Exchange Chambers, said:
“We are thrilled that this year’s Ball raised £21,000 for the Rooprai Spinal Trust. The generosity shown was exceptional. We are proud to support a charity doing such life-changing work, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make the evening such a success.”
Exchange Chambers announced RST as its new charity partner in October 2024.
Founded in 2005 and inspired by Marrianne Rooprai, who was paralysed from the shoulders down following a car accident in 2004, RST is a voluntary charity that sponsors people living with spinal cord injuries to access vital neuro-physiotherapy rehabilitation programmes.
Andy Uttridge, co-founder of RST and Marrianne Rooprai’s partner, said Exchange’s support has helped the charity immeasurably since October 2024.
Andy commented:
“The backing we receive from Exchange Chambers continues to make a life-changing difference to people living with spinal cord injuries. We are hugely thankful to everyone who attended and supported this year’s charity ball.”
