Exchange Chambers pushes the boat out for charity
August 6, 2015
A team from Exchange Chambers pushed the boat out at Headway Wirral’s 2015 Dragon Boat Race to raise money for the brain injury charity.
The annual event, now in its 4th year, took place at West Kirby Marine Lake and was opened by the Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Les Rowlands.
A number of law firms – including Weightmans, Carpenters, Hilary Meredith Solicitors, Silverbeck Rymer and Birchall Blackburn – also took part in the race which involved paddlers taking to a Chinese War Canoe and working together to transport the vessel across the marina.
Exchange Chambers are long standing supporters of Headway. Formed in 1980, the charity works to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers.
