Barristers from Exchange Chambers attended the British Irish Commercial Bar Association’s (BIBCA’s) Annual Law Forum in Belfast last week.

BIBCA is the leading cross-border network of solicitors, barristers and in-house lawyers from England & Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.  Launched in Dublin in 2013, it provides commercial lawyers with a unique forum to learn from one another, make contacts and build friendships.

The conference, which took place at the Inn of Court, Royal Courts of Justice, Belfast, focused on the impact of AI on the legal profession. Attendees from Exchange Chambers included Christopher Cook, Lawrence McDonald, Stephen Connolly, Eleanor d’Arcy, Jodie Wildridge and Ben Lafferty.

The Law Forum is BIBCA’s headline event and has gained a well-earned reputation for the curation and delivery of a captivating academic programme with presentations from leading minds and experts across the four jurisdictions of Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England & Wales and Scotland.

Following the day’s presentations and discussions, delegates moved on to the Merchant Hotel in Belfast for drinks, dinner and networking.
