The full-day event, now in its 17th year, is a sector focused national conference for local authorities, private registered providers, their solicitors and insurers.
Delegates attended a range of seminars throughout the day and were able to network during informal discussions in the Ballroom at the Town Hall. Many of the delegates were also taken on a tour of Liverpool’s historic sites by local historian Frank Carlyle.
Fourteen speakers from Exchange Chambers covered a variety of topics including Anti-Social Behaviour, Noise Induced Hearing Loss, Business Rates, Employment Law, Historic Abuse, Highways Act Claims, Property Disputes, Building Safety, Inquests, Planning Law, Court of Protection, Data Breach Claims, Stress, Bullying and Assault Claims in Personal Injury Cases and Terminating Business Leases.
Commenting on the success of the event, Louis Browne KC, Head of Exchange Chambers’ LGSH Department said:
“Our annual conference has established itself as one of the key dates in the diary for the local government and social housing sectors.
“This year, it was especially good to see people attending in person for the first-time post Covid.
“A big thank you to all the delegates along with the speakers and organisers.”
