The Defendant was charged with a number of offences dating back to between 1999 and 2004. At the time he was in a relationship and living with a woman who had a daughter who was 9-13 years old. The defendant was charged with offences of Rape against the woman where he was said to have strangled and hit her during sexual intercourse.
